As we hear of the story of this “not accidental” fight where Jesus is being tempted by the devil, we take heart in our wilderness experiences; often a place of waiting, reflecting, of trusting where we wager with the old Adam.  We gain hope through the Victory that Jesus won and by his grace we receive strength for the fight.
