Sunday 12th May 10.30 am – Ascension Sunday – Pastor Adrian Kitson

This Sunday is Ascension Sunday. Jesus met several times with his disciples during the 40 days after his resurrection to instruct them on how to carry out his teachings.

On the 40th day he took them to the Mount of Olives, where they watched as he ascended to heaven.

We are up on that hill as Jesus rises above us and is taken into the glory cloud to take up his rule. This is the final crowning moment of all that he has achieved for the world. This is his coronation ceremony and it is full of joy.
