This week we remember with love and gratitude our loved ones who have died, – the “saints” who have “fallen asleep in the Lord”.  The festival is ultimately a celebration of Jesus winning the battle over death.  We thank God for his grace and mercy to them and reaffirm our sure hope of the victory that we have through our Lord Jesus Christ.
