Hand in Hand Family Centre
Located at 24 Second St, Nuriootpa, St Petri co-runs a centre for the care and well-being of families in our local community.
The Hand in Hand Family Centre provides a way for families to connect with their children, other families and our volunteers. Building these relationships creates a foundation of respect and trust between the wider community and our church community and it is through this that we may continue our mission to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
It is always worth contacting us, connecting with us on our Facebook group, or calling on (08) 8562 2688 to find out details of the many opportunities on offer.
Connect and Play is a free, friendly and casual playgroup that runs weekly during school term on a Thursday from 10am -12pm.
Coffee Talk is a casual and friendly social group open to everyone! It runs fortnightly on a Tuesday during school term from 10am -12pm. You can bring a craft or project to do or just chat to a friendly face.
Tuning Into Kids is a course that helps parents to teach their children how to understand and regulate their emotions. This course is suitable for preschool children but also very useful for children up to 10 years. As children develop awareness and knowledge about emotions they become better at expressing them in appropriate ways, improves their communication, helps them to become resilient, and helps them problem solve tricky situations.
Toolbox Parenting groups provide practical parenting strategies, inspiration and encouragement and are targeted at parents of children aged 0-4, 5-9, 6-12 & 13-18.
