Currently we have various support and learning opportunities for families.
HoOt or “Happy Together” is a playgroup for younger children and their mums and dads, which meets every Friday morning at 9.30am during the school terms, in the St Petri Hall.
The parents and helpers at HoOt desire to share and celebrate Jesus’ love and hope with little ones, through opportunities for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and their caregivers to spend time together in educational, fun and play orientated experiences.

Kids Connect: Is an opportunity for primary school age children to share in bible stories about Jesus, enjoying a time of “creative response” through fun, hands-on activities. Pre-school age children are most welcome to attend with their parent/caregiver. Kids Connect will be held throughout school term during the 8.30 am and 10.30 am worship services.
St Petri co-runs a centre for the care and well-being of families in our local community. Through the Hand in Hand Family Centre, there are opportunities for parents of younger children, older primary school aged children and teenage children to participate in various helpful groups such as “Parenting Toolbox” for those parenting pre-school, primary or teenage children, “Fruit Salad”, for families with children who have or are experiencing separation and/or divorce and the like. These run as demand requires throughout the year.
It is always worth calling the centre to find out details of the many opportunities on offer.
Lutheran Community Care with its extensive helping programs and services can be accessed through the Hand in hand Family Centre too.
