Do we find ourselves striving to appease God and earn his favour?  Worried that God is angry with us?  Today we hear good news of the Grace of God, just as Martin Luther did in his great Reformation discovery.  Christian faith, founded on this word and promise of our gracious God, carries us through life into death, anticipating the fulfillment of the gift of eternal life in the place that the Lord has prepared for us.
